BIO

When a person experiences trauma, it is not uncommon for their lives to unravel. Renae's passion is bringing healing to people who have experienced life's stressors through Christ and counseling.

 

Renae was inspired by overcoming personal challenges of inequality, domestic violence, sexual abuse, and poverty. A success story of the Job Training Partnership Act of 1982, Kiwanis Builder's Club, NAACP Afro-Academic, Cultural Technological, and Scientific Olympic (ACT-SO), and Baptist and Educational Missionary Convention programs, Renae is driven to help other people excel.

 

Renae's personal story has led her to commit over 24 years of life to the administration and direct support of mental health and social services programs. Her experience includes working in residential treatment facilities, psychiatric facilities, and providing counseling and support services to those individuals experiencing trauma. 

 

Renae holds a bachelor's degree in psychology from Limestone Baptist College and a Masters's of Public Administration from the University of Arizona. She is currently pursuing her doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology from Prairie View A&M University.
